Two Butterflies on Flower - $325
Blue, green, cream and amber German glass glows in ambient light and absolutely comes alive in full sun. Purple German Antique glass shimmers in any light. These two butterflies can live on a flower forever in your window. Size to be noted (roughly 36" x 30")
-
Sugar Cone Swirly - $155
Is there anything happier than ice cream from the old neighborhood music truck? This chocolate and vanilla swirly cone is offered to the next kid in line. Remember those days? The out of tune music, the search for mom's change purse, the art of learning to lick around the edges before the whole thing melted... you can't go back, but maybe you can take it with you. (12 1/2" x 34 1/2"... the bottom panel is a door that opens and closes tightly from the back with original hinges and springs.)
-
Sun, Moon, Star - $225
The sun, moon and stars sparkle and shine inside this salvaged window frame from the Trinity Park restoration district in downtown Durham. Hang this panel in a window or on a screened porch for some celestial sunshine, moonbeams and starlight. Size approx. 32" x 24".
-
Fancy - $625
These were the days when a courtship lasted years, and a young man still asked a father permission to marry his daughter. Using a large salvaged window frame from an old turn of the century home in downtown Durham, I was inspired to create a scene that told a story. Twenty-two clear textures are assembled here, carefully chosen to mimic fabric, stone, metal, and wood. The only color is in the pink flowers being offered by the gentleman caller, arriving on the doorstep of his adoring lady love. Notice the glass "doorknobs" attached to either side of the door. And underneath it all, an antique brass plaque that reads "Fancy" in engraved script. (Size ~40" x 36")
-
Flit - $375
With a light touch, the butterfly flits from flower to flower, joyfully playing in the warmth of the sun. With hand blown blue flash glass, sparkly aventurine green wing tips, and repurposed gold-pink and amber flowers, your window will be filled with color all year long. Window frame circa 1840. (Size ~30 x 32)
-
Orange Flowers - $225
Three orange flowers glow in the afternoon sun, nestled in a vintage reclaimed window frame. Your garden never looked so good in glass! (size approx 32x24)
-
Red Flowers
Three red flowers shimmer in the sun, sitting in a reclaimed antique window frame. Bring the outside in, and never water again! (Size approx 32x24.)
-
Wedding Day - $250
Taking cues from the windows at bridal shops (and my own recent nuptials), in this reclaimed window frame, your bridal gown will live a happily ever after. Hand blown seedy glass makes the veil and heavily "beaded" bodice sparkle like diamonds in the sun. Your maid of honor stands beautifully at your side in a tapestry print, while the flower girl waits in ruffles. With sparse accents in barely-there palest pink, these dresses will forever hang throughout your wedded bliss. Congratulations! (Size approx 32x24.)
