Koi Pond
Koi pond, 2009. A gift for Christina Fish from her husband Jon Fish, in celebration of her completion of her first year in acupuncture school. Christina and Jon have since purchased more of my work, and to an artist that is the highest compliment. See Christina's comments at the Customer Comments link under Other Things.

Quail Roost Animal Hospital, Bahama, NC, 2003. The animals in this window are actual patients of Quail Roost. It was an honor to be asked to put them in glass.

Boots the Cat
Boots was a faithful friend who crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I was happy to revive his memory in this 10" glass suncatcher. I was given the picture to go by.

Lightening the Dog
Lightening crossed the Rainbow Bridge and I was given a picture to recreate his loving stare. I hope I did him justice in this 10" suncatcher. (All solid black would have been too much, so I integrated black baroque glass to liven it up.)

Sir Winston the Dog
Sir Winston is a member of a friend's family who needed to be remembered in glass. I even went to PetSmart and had a gold tag engraved with Sir Winston as the finishing touch to his red glass collar.

Phoebe the Rehab Dog
Phoebe was a therapy dog who brought much love and calm to those going through physical rehab and people in senior homes. She will be missed. I hope I was able to capture her kind smile in this 10" suncatcher.

Jack
Sometimes the bond we forge with our pets can leave a large hole when they move beyond this world. Jack lived a long life and was loved beyond compare by his human mother, Susan. They traveled together through many adventures that took them through trails, roads, laughter, and smiles. Our lives go on, while Jack will be missed.

Cake the Cow, and family
The Dempsey's have a farm in North Durham where they are remodeling an 1800's farm house that is just amazing! I was fortunate to build a beach scene window (viewable in the Color Gallery) in an existing exterior window that became an interior window for their new bathroom. On the heels of that project, they welcomed five new calves to their farm. In this window we have Cake, a happy black and white, and one of the new mothers who delivered a beautiful red calf in early Spring. The Dempsey's are wonderful, kind people, and I am honored to work with them as repeat customers.

Vadar
Vadar was the loyal companion of Mr. Dennis Campbell (AZ). This panel was commissioned by his son who is a member of the NJ Chapter of the Mid Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League (MAGDRL). Through Kahlilascope's recent efforts to raise funding for MAGDRL, Kevin Campbell's contribution through this gift (20% of profits go directly to the league) will help to buy food and pay for vet bills for this incredible volunteer organization that fosters and finds forever homes for such gentle giants such as Vadar.

Rocky and Miss Maisy
Ms. Jennifer Owen, a member of the NJ Chapter of the Mid Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League (MAGDRL), commisioned me to do a headshot of her beloved Miss Maisy, and a panel of her dear departed friend, Rocky. Through Kahlilascope's recent efforts to raise funding for MAGDRL, Ms. Owen's contribution through art (20% of profits go directly to the league) will help to buy food and pay for vet bills for this incredible volunteer organization that fosters and finds forever homes for these gentle giants.
